Q. How long have you been with Mountain Valley Spring Water?

A. I have been with Mountain Valley my entire life. My father preceded me in this business so I was literally born and raised with Mountain Valley. I recall as a teenager, my father talking about how all the other water companies were changing to plastic, and he was instrumental in Mountain Valley Spring Company choosing to keep glass bottles. As for working with Mountain Valley, I began my full-time working career here in 1984, that’s over 25 years ago.

Q. What other types of jobs have you had.

A. One of my first jobs, when I was in High School, was working for the Horolovar Company, which was the world’s largest manufacturer and distributor of parts to the glass domed anniversary clocks. It was a great job at that time of my life.

Q. When are some of your hobbies.

A. Almost anything to enjoy the outdoors, let it be hiking, bike riding, skiing, maybe a little golf, and definitely playing on the beach!
Q. When driving your car, what are you listening to?

A. I do not like to sit in traffic, so I usually start by scanning the various news stations for their traffic reports (I think WCBS 880am is the most accurate), and once I am finished with that, I enjoy listening to local commercial free radio, WFUV (90.7 fm) for their music.

Q. Tell us about a recent day-trip.

A. I went to the Bronx Zoo with my family, including my mother, mother-in-law, sister, and niece. It was a beautiful day, and we all had a fantastic time, checking out the animals including the three cute lion cubs. The Zoo is a fantastic wilderness oasis within the urban jungle of New York City. While seeing animals in captivity can be difficult, knowing that the Wildlife Conversation Society is working to protect animals especially the endangered species, is encouraging.

A) I was born in Teaneck, New Jersey. I have lived in Bergen County all of my life.

Q) What is on your night stand?
